Sabre is committed to supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and the Naval Aviation Systems Command (NAVAIR) implementation of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and training across the civilian and military workforce. AirSpeed and Task Force Lean (TFL), NAVAIR and NAVSEA respectively, have become the driving forces across both Naval Commands to provide for significant improvements in mission productivity through more efficient practices, ultimately providing a return on savings for Fleet recapitalization and funding for the Navy’s 21st Century readiness. Sabre embraces the challenge to strategically align with the Navy curriculum.
Sabre recognizes the need for employee training in Lean (identification and elimination of waste), Theory of Constraints (TOC) (identification and elimination of bottlenecks), and Six Sigma (elimination of rework by controlling processes and providing the metrics and rigor to maintain productivity goals). Sabre clients have identified the need for contractor knowledge and support of Six Sigma methodologies and Sabre is taking a lead role in understanding our client expectations and needs in relation to Six Sigma initiatives.
