Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Education Support

In order to do its part in building and shaping the workforce of tomorrow, Sabre has made a strategic business decision to support Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) initiatives.

STEM is a significant, nation-wide initiative that promotes the increase of interest in science and technology education programs in students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. The purpose is to build a future competitive workforce of scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians in order to sustain our growing global economy and to meet the growing demands of the 21st century.

Sabre’s approach to supporting STEM initiatives is as follows:

    1. Support K-12 Programs locally – by encouraging and rewarding employee volunteerism that inspires students in the science and technology fields, and financially supporting those activities
    2. Participate, Engage and Discuss – by actively participating and supporting discussions with federal, state and local agencies regarding STEM related education and workforce issues
    3. Workforce Development – by continually training and developing our current workforce to stay abreast of the rapidly changing trends in technology
